Liverpool Wool Sale At Current Prices
Received Monday, 7. p.m. LONDON, March 14. The Liverpool saies of Dominion wool opened last week with a full endorsement of current Dominion prices, states the International. Wool SecTetariat special news service. New Zealand
crossbreds showed considera.ble firmnesa at prices above those ruling^ at Auckland earlier last week and well above obtainable prices for erossbred tops in Bradford. Britain took most. of the wool on offer, with the Continent buying reasonable weights of faulty types but with France noticeably less active. The best feature of the present situation is that altho-ugh prices are easing a little, importing trades are still anxious to buy wool in practieally all qualities. There is on evidence of loss of confidence.
