Road Accidents

ROTORUA, March 7. When a milk truck. and a loaded roa-1 services car collided at the corner of Malfroy and Old Taupo Reads in Rotorua at 7.30 a.m. today, the bus hit 'a cuivert and overturned and the milk truck sheared through a corrugated iron fence. Both vehicles were extensively damaged. Seven persons were taken to hospital. They were: — Mr Maxwell Bell, married, aged 31, of Malfroy Road, the driver of the milk truck, admitted for observation with probable fractures and eoncussion. Mr William Otto Hounsell, married, aged 57, of Ngongotaha. Mr Nelson William Cook, married, aged 44, of Fairy Springs Road. Mr -Victor Livingstone Rosser, rnar ried, aged 52, of Taupo Road. Mr Turi Macpherson, aged 37, of Clayton Road. Mr Harataua Rogers, aged 37, of Old Taupo Road. Mr Harvey Hearn Painton, married, of Koutu. They are all . employees of the Sta'e Mill at Waipa. They were treated for ininor injuries and discharged. The driver of the bus, Mr Eric Neil Bennetr, was not injured.
