TRUCK DRIVER FATALLY HURT
WELLINGTON, March 7. A man died as the result of injuries he received when a light truck he was driving got out of eontrol and struck i the kerb on the main highway between Paekakariki and Pukehua Bay on Suiuijday night. He was: MR. WILLIAM JAMES LOU1S SMITH, of Motuhara Road, Plimmerton. Mr. Smith was driving soutliwards. When 'he was about three miles from Paekakariki the car struck the koru and Mr. Smith apparently struck his head on part of the eab. The ieft frout vvheel of the truck eollapsed with the impact.
