Heavy Fines Imposed on Bookmakers

DUNEDIN, March 7. Fines totalling £400 were imposed on two ineii for bookmaking when tlieyi pleadcd guilty before Mr. J. D. Wiliis, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court this morning. Vernon Henry Jones was lined £250 and Rov Jefferv McKeigh £150. Chief Detective T. \'.
