The women's bowling and croquet clubs have arrangements in hand for the holding of a gala day on the green this week, when bowling and croquet games and competitions, including many novelties,- wil! -be held. Mesdames Bovis, Parr and Morrison will represent Shannon at Manakau on Tuesday next for the final game in the Sherwood cup contest. Mrs. Parr has received notification that her bisques have been reduced to 7£ since winning the C grade championship a-t Palmerston North recently.
