A Healthy Area?
The great growth of feed which occurred in the Moutoa .district after the land had been flooded was being discussed during the hearing of evidence in the case in the. Supreme Court, Palmerston North, when the Hon. Mr. Justice Cornish interposefl, "What you are trying to say is that it is a very healthy area. You live to 80 and are prepared to take the wet with the dry." The witness agreed and said he had lived in the area for 34 years, despite the floods.
