Hotels To Close At Noon Next Wednesday
WELLINGTON, March 4. Hotels throughout New Zealand will close at noon next Wednesday, the day of the poll on hotel hours and the question of the provision of facilities for off-course betting. This was announced today by Mr. Percy Coyle, director of the National Couneil of the Licensed Trade. * . He said1 that hotels would require to ohserve the same closing time as on the diay of a general election: They close at noon and1 remain closed for the- rest of the day.
