The appointment of Mr. J. D. Mclntosh, one of New Zealand's best known professional golfers, as sec-retary-manager of the Wellington Golf Club, is announced. Brigadier K. L. Stewart has been appointed Chief of the General Staff in succession to MajorGeneral Sir Norman Weir, whose fetirem-ent on completing the tenure of his appointment, takes effect as frorti March 31.
