Knocked from her bicycle in a collision with a motor vehicle just north of the Awahuri Bridge on the Palmerston North-Bulls highway at 5.35 p.m. yesterday, a 12-year-old schoolgirl received' a fractured skull, and was taken i nan unconscious condition to the Palmerston North Hospltal by a passing motorist. The girl was: Carole Julianne Bond, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Bond, of Awahiiri. The car was driven by Mr. G. H. Wilson, of Bulls.
