Chief Scout Warmly Greeted At Whangarei
WHANGAREI, Feb. 11. The Chief Scout, Lo'rd Rowallan, v/as given an enthusiastic civic welcome last evening, wnen a -large audience assembled at the Town Hall, including scouts, guides, cubs and brownies from all parts of Northland. Later conversations allowed Lord Rowallan the opportunity to personally make contact with old ,and young. The Chief Scout left for Dargaville today. Later he will mo-tor by way of Waipoua Forest to Russell, where a big jamboree of Northland scouts is to be held during the weekend.
