Hotel Workers' Dispute Settled
WELLINGTON, Feb. 9. Agreement on the cbnditions of an award has been reached by representatives of the ' New Zealand Hotel Workers' Union and the employers, and dispute in the licensed trade has efided. The Wellington branch of the union announced. after a stopwork meeting this morning of bar-room workers that the terms were satisfactory, but would not be made publie at present, and the questions agreed upon would be referred shortly to the Court of Arbitration for ratification. ^ The union said it was arranging an ordinary meeting so that the terms could be submitted to all other hotel workers than the bar staffs.
