Corso's Drive For Clothes And Fat

The Levin provincial committee of Corso will hold its annual clothes drive on Saturday, February 19, when an appeal will be made for the collection of clothes, fats and newspapers. A special appeal is being made for the latter two commodities. "We trust that we will again receive the support of the people of Levin and district, and also the co-operation and assistance of the scouts and other kind friends who make .this collection possible," said the president of the committee, Mrs. H. B. Burdekin, yesterday afternoon. In connection with the drive, a special appeal is made to residents for volunteers to join the committee's sewing guild, which is very 'short of workers at present.
