Never far irom the top since the Otaki Queen Carnival commenced, the Citizens' Queen again ma'ds the fie'd at this week's barometer change. Sports, in the lead last week, have been reiegated to" sec-' iond place, and the tailender last week, the Maori Queen, has advanced to.tbird place.
The figures are: Citizens, 22,614 (18,343); Sports, 21,872 (21,681); Maori, 21,360 (14,369), Textiles, 19,914 (16,411); Fanners, 18,060 (14,669). • The total moniss represented by the latest figures are just short of £1300, this week's pay-in amounting to £230. •
