AUCKLAND, Jan. 17. Only 25 repatriates will sail in tlxe Yugos'lav GovGrnment steamor Partizanka wlien ske leaves Auckland on Thursday morning, tliree caneellatio'hs of bookings kaving been made in tlie last few days. It was originally intended tkat tke ghip should take away between 100 and200 Yugoslavs wbo had been living in New Zealand. The reasons given for the eancellations wero ill-health or delay in selling property. Three factors have eontributed to the Yugoslav comniunity's apparent lack of intefest in repatriation ships. They a're disquieting rumours of the experienees of those who returned to their liomeland last year, the warning issued by the Prixne Minister, Mr. Fraser, that the DominioTi conhl rlo nothing for them if tiiey found themselves unable later to . leave Yugoslavia, and the break he: tween Marshal Tito and the Soviet Politburo. The last lias had its elfect on Coinniunist followers of the Cominform. Yugoslavs living iu Auatralia have also had their misgivings. Alany fewer than were at first expected, will join the ship at Sydney and Fremantle for the voyage back. A large number of gift parcels from Yugoslavs iu New Zealand will be forwarded to Yugoslavia in the Parti«anka. These have been restricted, however, by the New Zealand Goverument to bundles of used elothing _and second-hand tools of trade. No i'ood parcels will be seut.
