Personal Misses J. and R. Swindlehurst, of Stout Street, have returned home after spending a holiday at Cambridge. A recent visitor to Shannon after bemg absent from the town for some ,30 years was Mr. W. ("Bili") Murray, now of Gisborne. Mr. Murray, wno is an oid boy qf the locai schooi, spent a very busy time looking up his ol'd schooi mates and other friends in tnis district.
