Coldstream Guards, before dawn this . morning, cordoned off two Chinese squatter areas 15 miles south of Kuala Lumpur, as a prelude to a liig operation round-up of the population of thescareas for repatriation to ('hina. This is the first operation under the emergencv decree promulgated yesterSivbig the Government wide powers to round up and repatriate the population in areas known to be activeJv assisting the Communist terrorists. Selangor police described the areas as "hotbeds of Communist activity since the eniergency began. " Yery few Chinese males wero evident in the areas as the security forces liegan the round-up.
