Hollywood Actor Visits New Zealand
-AUCKLAND, Jan. 4. The prospect of adding to his wardrobe was the thought uppermost in the mind of Peter Whitney (Mr. Peter K. Engle), Hollywood actor, when he arrive^l l'rorn Tahiti this morning. IVrr. Engle 's last film was "The Iron Curtain," in which he played the part of the dour Koviet military commandant. "I spent eight years learning how to act, then they picked me for my size, ' ' he said wryly. Af ter ' ' The Iron Curtain ' ' Mr. Engle left iilms. He wanted to write, so he followed the footsteps of many aspiring writers and went to Tahiti with his wife and nine-year-'old daughter. He found the climate too enervating, "eombined with natural laziness on my part." Now he intends to look for some material in New Zealand, ,
