How Magistrate's Court Act Affects Levin
Th£ new Magistrate's Court Act! of 1948 comes into operation from! today. Its affect on the Levin; Court will be that civil cases from! Foxton and Otaki will how be heajrd ; here. The*clerk of court, Mr. H. J.! Henderson, now becomes known' asi the registrar of the Magistrate's' Court. Under the Act the office hours of courts have been changed and are' now from 9.30 a.m. till 4 p.m. with a lunch hour break of from 12.30 to 1.30 p.m.
