FATAL FALL OFF LORRY.
WELLINGTON, Dec. 1. A man was fatally injured when he fell off the back of a lorry at Briscoe Mills store, Thorndon, about 2 'p.m. todav. He was ALFRED GCORGE WINTER, aged 49, tiler, Happy Yalley Road, Welling ton, He received a fracture to th'e liase of the skull. He was standing on the back of the lorry helping to load it when his foot slipped on the wet tray and he'fel. backwards to the ground. He ivas dead on arrival at the Wellington Hospital.
