WELLINGTON, Nov. 2. After a hearing extending over. two days, a jury in tlie Supreme Court found Eric Vincent Shea, greengroeer, aged 21, Ernest Rov Unsworth^ farm labourer, aged 20, and Frederick Charles Boniface, aireraftsman, aged 22, not guilty of charges -that on or about September 25, 1946; in company_ with Prancis Elston Wallis and Hugh Nonnan Montgomery, they couspired to commit arson and that they eomniitted arson by wilfully setting fire to No. 4 shed at Rongotai. The jury added a rider that they viewed with concern the policy of thc Roval New Zealand Air Poree in plaeing mere youths in positions of responsibility without adequate supervision. Mr. Justice Cornish tliereupon discharged the accused.
