WELLINGTON, Nov. 2. Public servants bave been warned about attending any stopwork meeting. A tjjreat jto hold a stopwork meeting if their salary demands were not' met within a month was made by a protest meeting of public seryants in the Town Hall, Wellington, last month. It was reported today that in the latest Public Service ofiiciai circul.ar there is reference to this threat and also a warning to all concerned that if any member of the Public Service should be absent from duty for such a purpose he would be liable to dismissal in accordance with the Public Seryice Act.
