Football Club's Field Day Tomorrow's Big Event
-Jl 'fP ■ - • Highlight of every . footbail season's end in the Athletic Club is the annua'l field day sbaged on the property of Mr. L. Palmer, Main Road, Weraroa. This year it is tobe held tomorrow and an attractive programme has been drawn up. Feature of the day will be the match between. the married and single men. Last year the married men oarried off the honours and, judging by the team to be fielded this year, "baohelors" will have to he on their toes to outclass them. Married andt single women's relay races, women's nail driving competitions, a men's sprint, dribbling comp.etition and line and place kicking competitions are also included.. Children are also well catered for. In the evening a smoke concert is to be held in the Weraroa Hall.
