That it was hoped that the Royal Family, and in particular Princess Margaret, • would be in attendance at the New Zealand Marching Assoeiation's chajnpionships jn Wellington on March 3, 1949, was mentioned by the Dominion presideht pf the association, Lieut.-Colojiel G. P. O'Leary, O.B.E., In an interview yesterday. Colonel O'Leary was in Levin on business eonneeted with fhe local association. He said that a,.Royal visit to the championships was at present just a hope, but it coineided with thejr Majesties' visit to Wellington.
