Basketball Competition Winners
The Horowhenua Basketball Asociation's inter-club competitions have been brought to a close1. Each grade has been keenly competed and games were only won by the best team. In the A grade, Wanderers were the winners with 24 poihts to their credit. This team's only loss during the season was When they defaulted to College C at the end of the1 second round. St. Joseph's with 21 points secured the cup for the runners-up, while third place went ®to College A with 20 points. The B grade "' winners were K.B.H., Who annexed top place with 28 points. They did not suffer a loss during the season, although some games were drawn. Capstan and Kotahitanga, each with 21 points, were the runners up. Next were Punahau and Tui B, who secured 19 points each. The C grade Gompetition finished on a more definite note than any of the other games. Convent led the field and emerged6 the winners with 24 points. One point behind were (poliegef F and Primary A. Seventeen points brought College G into third place.
