Championship Finals On Saturday The finals in the Levin Golf Club's senior, intermediate and junior championships are to be played on Saturday. -Commencing in the morning, play will eontinue throughout the day over 36 holes and there will ' no doubt be a large following Qf interested membe?rs. The finalists are: — Senior: W. G. Clark and S. C. Franklln. Intermediate: J. A. C. King and O. C. Lagor. Junior: B. Antcliff and J. E. Fullarton. Members playing friendly matc'hes are requested to give way to these games, avoiding any inconvenience to the finalists. Inter -Club Match In view of the championship games, the inter-club game 'against the Mornington Club will now take place on Oetober 10. Players to represent the local club will be advised later of the arrangemens for the day. Next Sunday a team from the Boulcott/ Club will visit Levin and meinbers wishing to play are reques'ted to contact the club captain Mr. S. C. Franklin, as soon as possible. Levin Plays Pukerua Twenty-four members of the Pukerua Bay Club journeyed to Levin last weekend for a return game against a similar number of men players from the Levin Club. Although the local side won the honours by a considerable margin, the match was voted qne of the most enjoyable yet played between the two clubs. Labour Weekend Tourney Entries from optside clubs for the Labour weekend tournament appear to be reac'hing larger proportions than was anticipated. The accommodation of thd visitors has caused a difficulty and any member prepared to billet a player is asked to advise the secretary a's soon as possible.
