Friesian Breeders To Hold Field Day
Preparations for the . Horowhenua Friesian breeders' field day, the date for which has not been decided, were commenced at the quarterly meeting in Levin yesterday. It was suggested by the president, Mr. B. W. Boddy, that some of the early breeders should be approac'hed with a view to collecting information for the compilation of a short breed history for the field day. The committee elected to make the arrangements for the field day is as follows: — Messrs. B. W. Boddy, D. M. Sorenson, M. L. Stnndish, F. O. Malcolm, A. R. H.rn, -Junr., and P. Small. The date for the field day will be set after the next meeting of the New Zealand Friesian Breeders' Council. The next quarterly meeting of the Horownenua Friesian Breeders will be held on December 11.
