The death occurred at Auckland on Monday of the Rev. H. E. BellhOuse, who had a long and distinguished record as a minister of the Methodist Church in New Zealand. He was born near Leeds 79 years ago and came to New Zealand at the age of 12. He was ordained in 1898. _ Among his rihurches were Kaiapoi, St. Albans. Ashburton, St. John's, Ponsonby, Taranaki Street, Wellington, and Trinity Church, Dunedin, from which he retired in 1936. For 11 years he wa-s editor of the "Metholist Times."
The Westralia will . arrive in Auckland on or about Monday, October 11 with some 404 Second N.Z.E.F. personnel returning to New Zealand, from Japan.
