INVERCARGILL, Oct. 4. The famine is over and now it is almost a flood, said the Invercargill manager of a motor tyre company, in discussing the tyre position today. He added that not since import restrictions were iirst applied, had there been such an excellent supply of tyres in store as there was today. His own store was packed almost to the limit of accommodation and there were hundreds of most standard sizes in stock.
