When she called again nobody answered and she then contacted the North Sydney police. The- police found that le Gallien had been stabbed six times in the neck, thigh, head and heart. They believe that the killer first rang le Gallien to ascertain whether he was at his office and that he was sufficiently well -known to be ailowed to enter without question.
