The Otaki Borough Council, at a meeting this week, agreed to proceed immediately with the laying of a 4-inch water main from Waerenga Road corner to the Green Horseshoe tearooms. The superintendent of the Otaki Volunteer Fire Brigade is to be invited to advise as to the number and position of fireplugs. Stormwater flooding in various parts of the borough has been causing cohsiderable inconvenly ence for a long, time past and with. the idea \ of tackling the problem in earnest,' Cr. H. W.
