AUCKLAND, August 6. The young scientists from Australia who are invcstigating radiations from spacc known as cosnnc uoiso have moved the sceue of their work from Leigh to Piha on the west coast. Bolton, an Englishinan, and Mr. ■Stanley, a Ncw Zealander, are members of the Australian Scientific and Lndustrial Eesearch Couircil and have been assisted by the New Zealand Deparlnient of Scientific and Industrial Besearch in sueh matters as the provision of equipnient and other facilities. They are botli- aged only 2(5, but the particular field on which they are ongaged is one of the newest known to science and they are among the leaders in it. The principal object of their visit to New Zealand was to obtain a site from which they could obtain uninterrupted reception over the sea liorizon of mysterious eiuanations from a region iu the * consteilation of Cygnus in the Milky AYay. Little is known abour these radiations, but apparently they are of tremendous power at. their source. Lven the exact locatiou oi' this is not yet known.
