School Rugby Trial To Select Reps.
The southern Horowhenua. schools played a trial rugby match on the Otaki Domain on Saturday morning. The Horowhenua selectors, Messrs. C. E. Wiseley' and "J. Hewitson, were in attendance and a team was selected to play the northern schools at Levin on Saturday morning next. After this match tne selectors will choose the players to represent Horowhenua at the quadrangular tournament held during the August holidays. The team is as under: — Forwards: P. Bartosh, W. Knox, L. Fox and B. Jensen (Otaki) ; M. Robinson and B. Bregman (Manakau) ; H. Hough and J. McKinnon (Paraparaumu) ; D. Oarrett (Otaki Convent) . Backs : J. Webster, C. Taucher and R. Seal (Otaki) ; J. Huff and J. Nicholls (Otaki Convent) ; D. Thomson (Paraparaumu) ; D. Fairley (Waikanae) .
