Personal Mi". Allan Brown, of Main Street, Otaki, is spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs. A. C. Denton, of Otaki Railway, who has not been enjoying good health iately, is spending a holiday in Lower Hutt. Miss Mary McBeth, of Rangatira Street, Otaki, who recently returned from a visit to Wanganui and Napier, is at present spending a hoiiday in Feilding. Mrs. N. N. Barron, oi Matene Street, Otaki, who is a patient in the Palmerston North Hospital, is reported to be progressing very favourably, and she is likely to be discharged some time next week. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilson, of Gisborne, who have been on holiday in Otaki, staying with the former's brother, Mr. D. Wilson, Convent Road, have returned to Gisborne.

Carol, the four-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Watene Johnson, of Palmerston North, and formerly of Otaki, passed away on Thursday night following an operation. Two games were played, thej A team winning by ' eight goals to two, while the B team won by 10 goals to one.
