KISS AND ROSES PROM WOMEN OP BERLIN.

The pilot who brought the 3000th airbome load of food into Gatow airport vesterday, received a bouquet of red roses, a talisman and a kiss, as a token of ap])reciation from the women of Berlin. The pliot was Flight-Lieut. J. Gornish, Australian Air Force. Aceompanying tlie roses was a letter "to the nnknown fl,ver. Welcome and tlianks for your lielp in our struggle for Berlin's freedom. Berlin's women feel associaled with everyone in the world who respects the rights of mankind. Long live democracy and freedom." The British "flying coalman" operalion will start tomorrow when Dako1as now flying food are diverted to Ruhr eoal. A switchover of many Dakotns is possible becaiise the flow of food to Berlin is now eonsidered sat isfact ory.
