Presbyterian Ladies' Guild

♦ ■ Mrs. J. W. Martin presided over the annual meeting of the Presbyterian Ladies' Guild, held recently. The meeting;. opened with prayer; followed by & Bible reading. Mrs. Martin agreed to carry on the duties of president for the ensuing year and Mrs. McLeish was re-elected as secretary. ' Arrangements were discussed for the combined guild meeting .in August, at which the Presbyterian ladies will act.as hostesses. The kindly offer of the use of the Parish Hall for, this meeting, made by the Anglican Guild, was gratefully accepted. A special meeting of the Presbyterian Guild will be held in the church on July- 28 and a full attendance is requested. It was reported that the eurtaihs and fitfongs, donated by Mesdames K. Mitchell and W. Clayton, have been hung in the vestry. The meeting closed with prayer, after which the members enjoyed a pleasant social hour and afternoon tea. ~ - -
