Sequel to recent disappearances of milk bottles and milk money ffom houses in Winchester Street was the appearance in the Juvenile Court, Levin, on Friday of a youth who was charged with the offence, This was a most contemptible kind of theft, said the magistrate, Mr. H. J. Thompson, when admonishing the youth and ordering Ihe restitution of the amount . stolen. Apart from the inconvenience caused householders, it also caused suspicion to be bast upon children living in the neighbourhood, and upon persons engaged in the delivery of milk.
