! Subsequent to its attendance at the Rangiuru Road fire on Sunday night, the Otaki Voiunteer Fire Brigade, through its superinten.dent, Mr. C. Sharp, protested most emphatically at the manner in which the general public clutter up the road to a fire. Pedestrians, cyclists, and private conveyances, cars and trucks alike, are all guilty of hampering the brigade's arrival, and apparently have not sense enough to even. keep to the side of the road. . The brigade contends "that it is I their job to attend fires, and .ask qhat following this procesf, oiiIook- • ers will be a little more considerate' to the brigade in future.
