Ship Afire at Sea
Received Sunda'y, 7 p.m. NEW YORK, Jurie 3. | The Sweclish vessel Dagmar Salen radioed that it was afire about ten miles off the Delaware coast and that the crew was pfeparing to ieaver the ship. The Panamanian vessel Peria went to the rescue and picked up the strickeh crew. One hiember was picked up by a coastguard plane which landeO in the seri and fleiv him to hospital for treatmerit for burris on the arms and legs. The coastguard eutter Centian poured streams of water into the blazing ship and extinguished the flre which brolce out in the engineroom ana 'quickly spread to the supferstfuetur.e . which is described as a inatSsx of charred wreckage.
