LEVIN LADIES BEAT OTAKI

Last week a team from the ladies' section of the Levm Golf Club travelled to Otaki to play Otaki in the second match for the Takapu Cup. Levin won by five games to three. Individual results were as follows, Otaki players being mentioned first: — Mrs. Bradford lost to Mrs. Hastedt, Mrs. Winterburn lost to Mrs. H. Black, Mrs. Anderson lost to Mrs. Nichoison, Miss Lea beat Mrs. Richards, Mrs. Lea beat Mrs. Ryder, Mrs. Henshaw beat Mrs. Porter, Miss B. Swabey lost to Mrs. Denton,, Mrs. Knight lost to Mrs. Larsen. Levin gained 10 points and i Otaki six. ■ The final round for the Park Rose Bowl was played during the weekend by Mesdames H. Black and Richards. Mrs. Black, after being three down at the turn, won. from Mrs. Richards two and one. The first round for the Ara- ! tangata Cup begins on Sunday.
