Heavy Quakes Felt On West Coast

GREYMOUTH, June 20. Earthquake shocks were experienced throughout the length of the West Coast early last evening. The first heavy jolt at about 6.20 p.m. was followed by a number of minor viorations, ana two neavaer shocks, the last about 7.45 p.m. being most severe. The shocks felt in South Westland appear to h&vp been heavier than in Greymouth but no damage is reported. It is impossible to communicate further south than Weheka which state reports indicates greater severity in the south but no damage.
