GREYMOUTH, June 18:' Falling between rakes of empty coaltrucks during shunting operations ai Rapahoe shortly before noon today, an enginedriver, Mr. Philip Howard Betts, 52, single, one of the senior d rivers on the locomotive staff of the Rgilways Pepartment at Grej-mouth, suffered fatal injuries. He was removqd to the Grey Hospital, in a serious condition, and succumbed to his injuries at 2.15 p.m. These included a fractured pelvis. a fractured arai and scalp wounds.
