A wedding of consi'derable interest to Otaki and district was soiemnised at Ail Saints' Church, otaki, r.ecentiy, when ii'is Eveline, second aaugnter of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Monk,, Otaki, was married to Leslie' Pat, .oniy son of Mr. and Mrs. A. P: Fergiison, Te Horo. Canon H. E. K, Fry , officiated ' and Miss Weno'rahiwi presiued at the organ. The bride, who was escorted by her fatiier, made a charmuig picture in her gown of white nmon and 1 French needierun lace. The fitting bodice of lace featur.ed a sweetheart necklme and iong, ht-' ting sleeves, while the "ninon skirt, faiiingv from under a iace peplum, was inset with a band of lace forming a peak on the iong luii train. Her beautifuiiy embro.dered tulle ved was herd in piace with a topknot of reai flowers, and she carnea a siiower bouquet of white chrysanthemums, cycxamen, carnations and maiaenhair fern. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. La Greca, as matron of honour, and her cousin, Miss Barbara Monk as bridesmaid. Both wore sea-green crepe frocks, exquisitly draped and beaded to ^tone with their cyciamen bouquets and topknots, whicn neid ,n place their sea-green shoulder-length ve.ls ana pearl neckiaces, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr. Heath Simcox and Mr. lan Swenson- carried out tne duties of bestman and groomsman respectively. ^ .

A reception was neia m tne Anglican Haxl, where Mr. and Mrs. Monk, assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson, received 170 guests. The young couple were the recipients of many congratulatory telegrams. Later they left by 'car for the North, the bride wearing a blue gab: ardine suit with pmm accessories and fur coat, the gift of the bridegroom.
