Tnformal gatlieriugs and visits to tlie Elleralie races and various King's Day sports lixtures, brought to a close tlie , three-day Dominion reunion and eonvention iu Auckland of meinbers of tlie New Zealand Rifie Brigade Association, Ofiicials of tlie association said tlie gatliering had aniply fullilled its one objecl of renewing acquaintances niade in New Zealand, Egypt and Erance in tlie days of the First World War. About 1100 "Dinlcs" from all paris of the couutrv attended the celebrations w'hich included a great reunion in the drill lia.ll on Saturday night and a nieniorial service at the Cenotapli on Sunday morning. The inen gathered at the drill IillII at 10 o'eloclc this morning where those members who had eonie from other parts of New Zealand, were officiaHv farewelled by Lt.-Colonel L. M. Blyth, president of the Auckland branch of the association. No oflficial functions had been organised for the day but motor ears were available to canduet the visiting meinbers on sight-seeing tours of the city and, suburbs and other groups niade their arrangements for attending the races and football matches.
