W.I. Card Evening

The Te Horo Women's Institute heid a very enjoyable card party in the Hautere Hall recentiy. The atlendance was fair and visitors were present from as far afield as the Dannevirke district. The hall was brightened with large bowis oi" hydrangeas. At the conclusion of the evening, Mrs. R. Johnson thanked those who had worked so hard to make the function a success and said that she hoped to see all present agam when a similar party was arranged in the near future. A competition provided by Mrs. L. McDonaid was won by Mrs. Little. An enjoyable supper brought the evening to a close. The card winners were as follows: — Ladies: Mrs. Little 1, Mrs. C.
