Two Big Rugby Clashes On King's Birthday
• O11 Monday next, King's Birthday the annual Maori-Pakeha senior Rugby fixture will be played at the Levin Park Domain. ■ As a eurtain i;aiser a similar game has been arranged between junlor players. The senior teams have already been announced, but those selected for the junior game are as follows: — Maori: H. Ropata (Waikanae), B. Ngaia (Waikanae), W. Cook (Hui Mai), R. Broughton (Punahau), S. A bus will leave Tokomaru at 11.45 a.m. and Shannon at 12.15, while from the south a bus will 'eave Otaki at 12-10 p.m. and Manakau at 12.30. All players for both the senior and junior matches will travel on these buses. Waikanae and Paraparaumu players will have to provide their own transport to Otaki. The juniors will assemble at the main gate to the domain at 12.45" p.m. and the seniors at 2 p.m. The managers for the teams are: —Senior Maori, Mr. M. Sciascia; Senior Pakeha, Mr. D. Oliver; Junior Maori, Mr. T. George; Junior Paksha, Mr. I. Bond. Third Grade Trial ; A third grade trial game is also to.be played on Monday, the venue being Rugby Park at 1.15 p.m. The teams are as under: — South: W. and A. Cook, A. Winterburh, W. Waaka, W.
