Over £600 Raised So Far In Children's Appeal
The local treasurer of the United Nations Appeal for the children of Eurooe and Asia, Mr. H. L, Jenkins, reports that 75 per cent of the organisafions have completed their collections and so far £687 has been raised. There are still a number of collectors who have not yet completed their areas, and a few have yet to start. The Mayor, Mr. H. B. Burdekin, said today that he hoped that as many of the organisations assisting in the drive who could do so would complete their collections as soon as possible so that the results of the drive could be obtained.
