Police officials said the perfectly planned crime started when a pri~ vate car stopped after it had passed the truck's escort on a lonely road, Six masked men got out and fought off the marine commando escort, The truck drivers, with maehinegun fire, seized the trucks and drove off. The bandits turned the machineguns on a petty officer and seaman in a jeep - who followed them, and forced them to abandon the chase.
