Table Tennis Season Opens With Tourney
The Levin Table Tennis Club opened its season this week, and despite adverse weather there was an attendance of bver 80, The president, Mr, P. Meddings, in deciaring the season open, thanked those present for attending and expressed the hope that the season would be a highly suecessful one. A Yankee doubles taurnanicnt was played during the evening and four players succeeded in gainlng 63 points, the possible for three rounds. In the final R, Sfcantial and D. Henderson ,beat B. Hender-
son and M. Fox 21 — 15 to take the honours. Supper was served and the remainder of the. evening was occupied in playing frien'dly games. Members and intending members are reminded that the club is playing in the Driil Hall at 8 p.m, every Tuesday.
