Pillion Rider Fatally Hnrt
CHRISTCHURCH, April 13. Fatal injuries were suffered -by a young man in a collision in the city at, 10.30 a.m. today. He was: Ronald W. Smart, aged about 25, tramway motor-man, of 24 McBratney's Road, Dallington.Smart was a piliion passenger on a motor-cycle driven by Marvyn James Philp, of 18 Forbes Street, Sydenham. The motor-cycle goILided with a truek driven by Thomas Ball, of 511 Moorhouse Avenue.
