AUCKLAND, Apnl 11. Preparaiions are almost complete for tbe resumptiou of work on the diversion tunnel at tbe Maraetai hydro-electric scheme which has been deserted for about a month 'while the men have been on strike. The outlet end df the tunnel, which was allowed to flood when worls stopped at midnight on March 10, was pumped out yesterday and equipment has been replaced in the tunnel. A'n engineer said today that he did not know how many men would be available wrhen work began at 7.30 a.in. tomorrow but he though there would be a 'reasonably good muster. The actual number of key men missing would not be apparent until the afternoon shift began but it was thought sufficient would be available to eriab'le three shifts to be worked on a 24-hour 1 basis. ' The contractor/s' trucks were arriying back at Mangakino, nxost ot them earrying a number of rpen.
